On Tuesday the 5th of July 2022, we were honoured to welcome over 850 guests to the 43rd Dominion Post Sport and Recreation Awards. For the first time since 2019, we were able to hold this event in person, coming together to celebrate the achievements of some fantastic clubs, teams and individuals.

Formerly known as the Sportsperson of the Year Awards, this prestigious event has a long standing history within our region, serving to acknowledge, promote, and celebrate the contribution that sport and recreation makes to the wider Wellington community. Congratulations to our 2022 finalists and winners, and to all those who joined us on the night. We look forward to welcoming you back next year.
