Whilst the winter chills don’t seem to be leaving our side, the lighter evenings are giving us a glimpse of the warmer months to come! At Nuku Ora our mahi hasn’t slowed despite the cold, with plenty of action happening within our sector as usual!
 
Today, applications have opened for the Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa Smaller Project Fund, which welcomes applicants seeking funding less than $10,000. Read on for details of how to apply.
 
The coming months welcome many events relevant to our sector, including the WCC Sport Development Programme, Cultivating the Right Culture Governance webinar, Facility Utilisation webinar by SpacetoCo and much more, which you can find out more about below!

This week saw the conclusion of the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, where the NZ team secured an impressive medal haul across a wonderful range of sports. A massive congratulations to our region’s athletes who participated, with special mention to Lewis Clareburt for his success in the pool!
