Regional Sector Update 21 November 2022
21 November 2022

Kia ora koutou,
The past fortnight has been significant for our women's sport here in Aotearoa, with both the Black Fern's incredible Saturday night win and the 8th IWG World Conference taking place in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Last week, we also announced our MC, speakers and draft programme for the Regional Conference 2022. With less than two weeks to go, time is running out to register for this excellent development opportunity. Being held on Wednesday, 7 December, come along as speakers deep dive into integrity, disability, and gender inclusion in sport, recreation and play, as well as how the sector needs to change to stay relevant into the future. Read on for more on this unmissable event!
Closer to home, College Sport Wellington recently recognised sporting accomplishments amongst secondary school students at the annual Sportsperson of the Year Awards, and we wrapped up another successful Senior Regional Games.
