Āti Awa Toa Wellington Regional Sports Awards 2024

We are thrilled to have organised the Āti Awa Toa Wellington Regional Sports Awards 2024!

Held on Thursday, 24 October, this event celebrated the incredible impact of sport across the wider Wellington region. For over 40 years, these awards have recognised the achievements of outstanding athletes, coaches, teams, clubs, volunteers, and officials within our community.

Out of 123 nominations, 45 finalists were selected, and 21 winners were announced across 12 categories. In some cases, awards were given to two recipients—one at the community level and another at the performance level. Two special panel-appointed awards, the Lifetime Contribution Award and the Gibson Sheat Sports Legends of Wellington, were also presented.

Congratulations to all our finalists and winners! Thank you for making this a truly memorable event that highlights the vital role sport plays in our region.
