Green Prescription (GRx) is a free service aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, and whānau through movement/physical activity and nutrition support.
GRx supports whānau towards achieving their healthy lifestyle goals through resources, information, removal of barriers and creating sustainable lifestyle changes.
How we support
Our aim is to help you and your whānau move forward with confidence on your healthy lifestyle journey.
This is achieved through movement and healthy kai support to both individuals and whānau, adapting based on need (which might be as little as a one-off contact), but could also include:
- Regular follow-ups for up to 12 months
- Healthy eating and physical activity resources and support
- Community connection
If you’re after ideas and inspiration, check out our new Wellbeing Hub. This is a collection of resources, including physical activity and recipe directories.
