The Neighbourhood Manager reports to the GM Partnerships and leads the implementation of the Well Wairarapa through Healthy Neighbourhoods Plan. The aim of the plan is to support neighbourhoods to develop and maintain healthy behaviours that lead to improved wellbeing. The desired outcome is well communities and high levels of wellbeing across the Wairarapa.  

Working collaboratively across the Partnerships and Delivery teams, the Neighbourhood Manager will support thriving and connected communities through: 

• Engaged neighbourhoods: Harnessing local insights, identifying local strengths and understanding local needs and aspirations. 
• Provider networks: Connecting groups and people to form neighbourhood networks. 
• A connector workforce: Empowering and enabling local people to work together to achieve shared goals. 
• Advocating for neighbourhoods with key stakeholders.  
   

The Neighbourhood Manager will work collaboratively with other Nuku Ora Managers to enhance Nuku Ora as a regional leader through effective communication, innovation, knowledge sharing, influencing, and partnering.
